Honeymooning in Southern California - Part 1

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon. We ended up visiting the Disneyland Resort and Knott's Berry Farm. Most of the photos I'll be putting up are from the different places we ate at during the trip. In California, the menus all have the nutritional information next to the item, so it gave me a good idea of how many calories I was putting into my stomach.

One of the first places we visited for dinner was IHOP. I hadn't been to an IHOP here at home, but I had heard that service wasn't good and the food was overpriced. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the service at this particular IHOP was pretty good.

This was their turkey club sandwich. It came with an order of fries and a pickle. There was also some kind of spice they added to the fries to give it a kick.

Two mornings later, we went to Denny's across the street from Disneyland to have breakfast. I also had hesitations about going to Denny's because of what I had experienced at the one here at home. But, again, I was surprised at the value of the food and the quality of the service.
